Brother Blevins was also elected as Local Lodge 2003 President of the approximate 3,000-members and served in this position four years before being elected as Business Representative for District 75 in 2005.

We appreciate all his dedication and time in the various positions served for which he served our membership and wish him the best in his future endeavors.

This year our International and District will be counting on our members to supply us with the needed contacts to help us with our Organizing.  WE ALL know someone who wants better wages, benefits, and justice on the job.  Please email  the District with their Name, Address, Place of Employment, and Telephone Number and we will contact them, or call 334-598-4435.  It is all our responsibility to "Grow the IAM"

Our Business Representatives have many Contracts to Negotiate in the upcoming Year.  Please support them on your Shop Floors.  Solidarity between our members is the key to a better contract.

Our Organizing Committee out of Local Lodge 2003 has been busy lately out on the road helping the Organizing Department out of the Southern Territory.  If the Organizing Committee in your Local wants to be involved in Organizing Drives please call the District office.
